Youth and Community Planning Group

The Youth and Community Planning Group run and maintain the church's youth and community groups on behalf of the church.  They meet regularly to discuss the current groups and any new ideas that would benefit the community.

As well as running and overseeing the church groups, they also get involved in local events (such as Desborough Carnival) and for the last few years have held a Hallowe'en event on the Desborough URC steps using World Vision's 'Patch the Pumpkin'.  Each time the event is run over 100 Hope Bags are handed out to the children who come to take part in the event. 

The group is made up of members of the church and the local community, as well as the Desborough URC Minister, Rev. Helen Wakefield-Carr, and the URC East Midlands Children and Youth Development Officer.
